Overview

A fast, lightweight DAW with a classic studio workflow.

ToneMatic is a native DAW for recording, editing, MIDI and mixing, built on the open-source Tracktion Engine. It aims to stay light and fast, with a classic studio workflow that feels instantly familiar.

It comes loaded: hundreds of built-in effects, the AtiNAMatiC amp player, a drum track with a step sequencer, and hosting for your own plugins.

Record and edit

Multitrack recording, real edit tools and modes, take folders with quick-swipe comping, strip silence and tab to transient.

Mix window

Vertical channel strips with five insert slots each, sends to any track, track stacks, groups and sidechain inputs.

Hundreds of effects

Every Airwindows effect built in, plus bundled open-source plugins from Chowdhury DSP, Dexed, Dragonfly Reverb, IEM, LSP, Surge XT, x42 and ZAM.

AtiNAMatiC built in

Add a guitar amp track with the AtiNAMatiC player in one click.

Songwriting tools

Tempo and meter changes, tempo ramps, a chord track, and a drum track with a built-in kit and step sequencer.

Automation and export

Volume, pan and plugin automation, bounce to disk, and stem export as WAV or AIFF.
